Welecome to the Pocono Triangle

The NASCAR Sprint drivers will be on a track that isn't like anything they have been on so far this season because Pocono Speedway is shaped like a triangle.
So instead of four turns, the drivers will only have to handle three. This is the track where Jeff Gordon celebrated a rain-shorten victory last June. He'd probably like something similar since Gordon has yet to win this season. If he gets the lead, and clouds are nearby, don't be surprised to see his crew doing a rain dance.
I guess the same can be said for his teammates, especially Dale Earnhardt Jr. Earnhardt, who has yet to win a points-race this season, should also be pretty good here. Why? He's been good at every track so far. He had his first bad finish last weekend at Dover because of a wreck that wasn't his fault.
Denny Hamlin and Ryan Newman usually have good performances at Pocono so it would be foolish to count both of them out.
As for Tony Stewart, who won the charity race at his own track last Wednesday, it will be interesting to see if he can get his Toyota into victory lane. Stewart has run good at Pocono before.
Jimmie Johnson, the two-time defending Cup Champion, looked good in qualifying and should be a force to contend with.
This will be the first of six races televised on TNT. It'll be interesting to see how they'll do this year.
