Stewart May Have Made The News, Busch Steals The Show

It seemed that Saturday was going to be a night for Tony Stewart. He came out last week and said he was going to leave Joe Gibbs Racing and then had a strong car in the middle part of the race at Chicagoland Speedway.
Then, as his car got worse, teammate and points leader Kyle Busch was there to get his seventh win in the Sprint Cup Series.
It wasn't easy though. Busch had to go around Jimmie Johnson on a restart with two laps left in the race. Busch went around the high side as Johnson protected the bottom. The end gave Busch his second-straight victory after winning at Daytona Beach the previous weekend.
A lot of people I know don't like Busch. I think he's a great driver who is having a heck of a year. He's not bashful by any standards. He will tell you what he thinks and yeah he may have rub some of the competitors or fans the wrong way.
But he's leading the way right now. In the old days, Busch would be on his way to a Cup title. The thing is, that's the old days.
Busch, and probably Dale Earnhardt Jr. are the only two that I see are definitely in the Chase. And once the chase, which are the last 10 races, begins all of the contenders will be close in points. That's when Busch will have to show that he can run good all year long instead of just the first half of the season.
