Short Track Action Makes For Big Night

This week shouldn't be as bad as last weekend. That's because the NASCAR circuit rolls into Bristol Motor Speedway. This short track, combined with 43 cars going more than 150 mph, creates a lot of excitement. Added with that is the fact that we are only two more races until the beginning of the Chase.
In the past, we've seen people throw their helmets at other cars here at Bristol. We've seen teammates wreck each other and it has been known for drivers to still be a little bit heated when they get out of their cars at the end of the race.
Probably by now, you should know that the best two picks to win are Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards. These two guys seem to be at or near the top every week. But this is a track that Jeff Gordon has dominated in the past. It's hard for me to believe that he has yet to win a race this season.
The same is true for Tony Stewart. How can two of the best drivers in the series be winless in 2008? It's kind of a mystery.
