I was honestly glad to see someone other than Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards or Jimmie Johnson get a victory on Sunday. I was really happy to see Greg Biffle win his first race of the season.
Now, maybe next week someone like Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon or Kevin Harvick can get up there and win.
The Chase got started on Sunday and it was pretty much like the last couple of weeks. One car dominated to a certain point and then another took over. If Biffle doesn't pass Johnson, the race wouldn't have been as exciting at the end.
For those who hate Busch, I'm sure they were overjoyed to see him have bad luck early in the race. I know Busch has to be upset after having his first real bad race of the season. But he has nine more races to go and I believe he is only 70 something points out of first.
The thing is, NASCAR rolls into Dover next week and that's been a good track for Biffle. What NASCAR needs is for the Chase to stay close. They would love to go into Miami with all 12 having a chance to win the championship. It would be good to see at least four or five contenders have a chance to win the Cup in that last race.
That would really be big for the sport.
