Johnson and Edwards Put on a Show

During Sunday's race, I had to leave the front room to do something in another room. When I came back, Jimmie Johnson was in the lead and Carl Edwards was a little bit behind him. The third place car wasn't even on the screen. I guess all of the other cars aren't that good.
I did some research. Out of 29 races, there have only been 10 different winners this year. Now maybe that surprises some of you. I just can't understand how the same drivers are dominating week after week while supposedly good drivers can't compete with the two or three who are doing good.
For Sunday's race, the good drivers were Jimmie Johnson and Carl Edwards. One would lead for a while and then the other would lead. And once Johnson got the lead after the last round of pit stops, he just left everyone. Well, except for Edwards.
Carl made things interesting in the closing laps. Especially that last lap when he passed Jimmy only to go up and hit the wall which allowed Johnson to go back by Edwards and pick up the win. Greg Biffle, who won the first two races in the Chase, was third and is now 30 points behind Johnson who is 10 points ahead of Edwards in second. The remainder of those in the Chase are more than 100 points behind and some of them had good days. Basically, though no one wants to say it, the Chase will come down to Biffle, Edwards and Johnson unless this trio has some bad luck like Kyle Busch has had.
