Happy Mother's Day for NASCAR

Kyle Busch may need security when he gets to Darlington, S.C. That's
because he was involved in a late race wreck for the lead with Dale
Earnhardt Jr.
I'm sure he's ready to hear it from the fans at Darlington. He may hear
it from them the rest of the season.
Earnhardt is still trying to get his first win in Cup series since 2006.
He's closer this year since he's been with his new team. And he's third
in points, so Earnhardt seems to be in position to making the Chase this
year.
But don't get too excited yet. There still a lot of races left before the
Chase begins. Let's start with this weekend when the drivers race a day
before Mother's Day.
Again, the cars will look good under the Saturday night lights. And
Darlington has been known to have close races at the end. Hopefully this
won't be any different.
The favorite will probably be Jeff Gordon. For one reason, he hasn't won
this season and he's hungry to get into victory lane. And since Earnhardt
and Tony Stewart haven't won yet, look for them to try their best to get
to the front.
I just wonder what Busch is going to do if he's following Earnhardt in
the late stages of the race. I have no doubt that he'll race him for the
win. I just hope he doesn't hit him this time.
Because, even if he doesn't mean to, Busch may need security to get him
out of South Carolina.
