Chase Begins With 12, But is It only for three?

The Chase begins this Sunday and NASCAR better be hoping that more than three drivers will still be realistic contenders by the time the final race begins in November.
Here's the deal, the new car hasn't been as exciting at many tracks. Except for the big super speedways and the short tracks, the other tracks have seen the same driver winning. That has mostly been Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards and Jimmie Johnson. And those three are the favorite to win it all.
Now with the points reset, NASCAR is hoping to get people to change the channel from the NFL to their product. At least that's what the Chase is all about.
I don't think it's working.
Since the Chase began in 2004, I've always been excited when we get to the point where we have the final 10 races. For some reason, I'm not that excited this year. Maybe that's because the new car hasn't produced some of the worse races in the last couple of years.
Oh well, the Chase is here and the first stop is Loudon. Look for the previous three I've mentioned to be strong and also don't count out Clint Bowyer who won this race last year.
