A week after the fireworks at Bristol, the NASCAR circuit rolls into California. A nice big track compared to the one they were at last week in Bristol. But the question remains, will Kyle Busch seek pay back to Carl Edwards this week or will it come the next week at Richmond?
Honestly, that's the question I've heard a lot this week. And while those two are talking about a rivalry, Jimmie Johnson, the two-time Sprint Cup Champion, is probably loving all of this. That's because the attention is off of him. This may play right into his hands.
He has the pole position for this Sunday's race, which seems to be the last one held in California on Labor Day weekend. Next year the Labor Day weekend race returns to the south in Atlana while California will get a race in the final 10 weeks of the season.
As usual, look for Edwards and Busch to be somewhere in the top 10. And if they get close to each other, there's no telling what we may see.
